FLORENCE, Ala. – And then there were two. Two of the absolute worst might I add. It has certainly been a season to forget for FUture and The Flying Dactyls and that season will culminate next Monday with one of the two combatants crowned as The Shaney League Sacko recipient.

Despite their best efforts in the opening leg of the 2018 Sacko Playoffs, both FUture and The Flying Dactyls put together less than stellar efforts and now face an impending doom. Hard to think this is where we are considering Tommy was 4-4 and is now on a six-game losing skid heading into the finale. Krieger also could smell the playoffs, sitting as the No. 8 seed with just three weeks remaining before being dismantled down the stretch.

The fact is no one wants to win the Sacko, but this year we certainly have two deserving contenders. Their putrid teams are the skid marks of what is a proud, competitive league and I think I speak for the other nine members when I say your determent to our sanctity will not go unpunished.

We look forward to celebrating your failures next weekend. The carnage that awaits one of you will be unimaginable and I have no doubt that you will consider quitting on multiple occasions. Just know that if you feel alone, you are. You are the Sacko and we will NEVER let you forget it.
